Throughout the United States and Canada, the Emmaus Correspondence School home office works with a growing number of Emmaus Connectors. These are men and women who use the courses in their own personal ministry with individuals and groups, whether it be by teaching the material, in 1-on-1 discipleship settings, in local jails or by grading and commenting on Emmaus courses. These are partners that connect individuals to God's word through the use of Emmaus courses. They become associated with Emmaus Correspondence School around the country. They are trained, taught and instated by official Emmaus Connectors from the headquarters of the Emmaus Correspondence School located in Dubuque, IA.

3 ways to partner with Emmaus Correspondence School

   

The Emmaus Bible study courses which are designed to guide students through basic Bible knowledge that cover salvation, foundational truths, and Bible survey. It also helps the students expand their understanding of the topics of Christian living, doctrinal subjects, and many individual Old and New Testament books.

Emmaus Correspondence School also offers a growing number of courses on specific topics that provide biblical perspective and spiritual insight into important contemporary issues.  They are very reasonable in cost and can by studied at the individual's own pace.

Emmaus Bible study courses can be used in many different ministries and programs. Some of the other Emmaus Connectors have found effective uses of the courses in:

*IMPORTANT — All Emmaus Connectors will have had to completed The Essential Pack – Mile Marker 1 of The Emmaus Road before being approved as an Emmaus Connector.

Course Coordinator

A Course Coordinator is a person who, following successful application, becomes a connector between their local ministry/church body and Emmaus Correspondence School. Emmaus courses are made available to the Course Coordinator at a discount* who then distributes them in a way that they feel the Lord is directing them.

How does it work?

This model is perfect for the individual that simply wants to promote Emmaus courses but not have all the administrational work of an Associate Instructor.

Course Coordinators are able to use the courses in two way. 1) They can tell their contacts to return completed courses into the Emmaus Correspondence School headquarters directly. 2) They can collect the courses and mail them into the Emmaus Correspondence School headquarters in Dubuque, IA for them.

The Emmaus Correspondence School headquarters will complete all necessary paperwork and processing of the courses including the grading of exams and issuing of certificates. The head office will then return them to the student or Course Coordinators.

Associate Instructor

An Associate Instructor is a person who, following successful application, becomes a co-worker in ministry of Emmaus Correspondence School. Emmaus courses are made available to the Associate Instructor at a discount* who then distributes them in a way that they feel the Lord is directing them.

Associate Instructors are individuals approved by Emmaus Correspondence School to distribute courses, grade exams and issue certificates. They are a 100% self run student services center.

How does it work?

As an Associate Instructor, you can guide others in pursuing personal Bible study courses. You will be able to grade the exams with answer keys provided by the Emmaus home office. You can also issue certificates to individuals who complete courses you have provided them. You can counsel students and give them personal attention.

With Emmaus courses, you can make a lasting impact in the lives of individuals in your city, neighborhood, and local church.

Emmaus Correspondence School provides the courses and other support material to help the Emmaus Associate Instructor in their ministry.

Associate Instructors are encouraged to charge their students the full price of the courses using the 50% discount as funds to cover the expenses of grading, certification, and record keeping.

Impact Partner

A Impact Partner is a person who, following successful application, is able to use Emmaus courses in a context where the person receiving the course is unable to pay for them to share the gospel and Bible study.

  • Local Jails
  • Rescue Missions
  • Juvenile Detention Centers
  • Refugee work

The courses are made available to the Impact Partner at a discount* who then distributes them in a way that they feel the Lord is directing them.

How does it work?

As an Impact Partner, you can guide others in pursuing personal Bible study courses. You will be able to grade the exams with answer keys provided by the Emmaus home office. You can also issue certificates to the students who complete courses you have provided them. You can counsel students and give them personal attention.

With Emmaus courses, you can make a lasting impact in the lives of individuals in your city, neighborhood, and local church through a local jail ministry, rescue mission, juvenile detention centers, refugees or other cases where people find themselves in situations that they are unable to pay for the courses themselves. 

Emmaus Correspondence School provides the courses and other support material to help the Emmaus Impact Partner in their ministry.

To financially assist Impact Partner in their ministry, Emmaus Correspondence School offers a 75% discount on all courses. This discount is only available thanks to generous donations given at emmauscourses.org/donate
